owwchy

Helam is becoming so mobile that at times it is hard for me to catch up with him. He climbs onto everything. The chairs, couches, coffee table. Today he even managed to climb onto the dining room table (not an easy task). But even with all of his climbing adventures, he has managed to not get hurt.
And today, thus far he has managed to only trip over a pillow and bite his lip all the way through!
When it happened all he could do was cry owwchy. There was lots of blood and I was afraid that I would need to take him into the doc. But after about 20 minutes the bleeding stopped and he was off again trying to climb on something.

Honest Abe

Today Korban had his kindergarten registration. As we walked into his "new school", he saw a very similar picture of the one above of Abraham Lincoln and asked
"Mom, who is that Prophet?"
I told him that that is a picture of Abraham Lincoln and he wasn't a prophet he was one of our Presidents of the United States. He then looked at me and said "O.. Okay"
Man I love this boy!!!

Shakespeare!

Last week, Samantha had her performances for Shakespeare! Her part was Queen Elizabeth I. She looked so amazing in her costume and she was on Fox 13 news!

The last two months the sixth grade at her previous school (because the girls transfered this week) have been practicing for a Shakespeare performance that the school has been doing for years. The teachers put so much hard work into it and I am proud to say I am so GLAD that I waited to transfer Sam. She really was truly amazing! And the entire cast was outstanding!
