Who's Who??? ANSWERS....

UPDATE: Thanks for all of you who participated.. I thought that this was a fun game. KUDOS to Veena for getting all the correct answers.. The order goes like this:

A) Gannon

B) Helam

C) Emer

D) Korban

After I posted this originally I realized that I should have put this picture of Korban:

By the way, this picture of Korban (crazy positioning and all) looks just like Helam....

So I thought that I would do a little poll.. Without the poll. Because I don't know how to put a poll on my blog. So you can just put your answers in my comments section....
While I am in my office, as well as others who come in, my screen savers (all 3) are usually going on. And I always quiz people who are in here with me as to which baby is which.. (I that the right which?? ) Anywhoooo, I thought that I would do the same here.

Here are 4 different pictures of my four youngest kiddos.. You can take a guess.. And in a couple of days I will post the answers.. Good Luck....

A: Gannon
B: Helam

C: Emer

D: Korban

Surgery...

After alot of prayer and deliberation, last Thursday I went into my doctor for an in office procedure called essure. http://www.essure.com/ From all of my research it was going to be a simple procedure and I would be back to normal the next day. What a way to go I thought, and still do. But apparently my body is freakish.. While in the office my doctor found some complications. Without going into to much detail here is what happened...

A hole was found in my uterus. So I had to go over to the Hospital for a normal tubal and to have my hole repaired. After waiting forever to go up to surgery I was finally taken up and met my Nurse and my Doctors. They who were cool. I really don't remember very much, other than I was knocked out for the surgery and when I "woke up" I asked El the same questions over and over.. I say "woke up" because I really don't remember Friday or Saturday. The are still both blurred together.
Luckily today I feel so much better. I am just hoping that my incisions heal quickly and I am all the way back to "normal" in the next couple of days..

Twins, a flat tire & shots... 2 months fly by

Because I missed out on blogging for all of my older children, I am going to try to tie in events from their lives that I don't want to forget, and I am reminded of them because of my growing Helam...

In December of 1999 I took Morgan and Kylah to their two month check up. It was cold and yucky outside and I really never looked forward to taking them anywhere when the weather was like that, but because of the great laws (i'm being sarcastic) of this country we live in, if you don't get your kids shots, then you have a rough time placing them in school, they needed to get their shots on time.. (yippee).. So I ventured out in the cold and had their checkups and got them their shots. What a bummer, but they were good babies and they did well. I am sure it was me who took it way harder than they ever did. Luckily it wasn't as bad as when Samantha had to have her PKU done during her two week check up.. I cried like a baby.. (i'm a wuss) Anyways, we got done and as I was placing them in my Honda Civic Wagon (like an 86 or something) I noticed that I had a flat tire. WHAT? I was so upset! I didn't have any money and it was cold and I really needed to get the babies home to feed them and make them feel better. So, I drove about 3 blocks to a Sinclair station. I pulled up and got out. A man walked over to me and asked what he could do for me. I told him about my flat tire and how I didn't have any money, so I just needed to see if he could put air in my tire so that I could make it home. He said sure.. I pulled into the garage and he lifted the car onto the ramp (while my babies were still in the car) and pulled the tire off, I said "wait, I don't have money to repair it, I just need air" he then repaired the tire and sent me on my way, without paying any money... What a good person he was. He probably did it because I was already a wreck and couldn't hold my stuff together, but none the less he did it.. I hope that as my kids get older, they can do things for people who need them.

This brings me to my two month old Helam... What an amazing baby. He holds his head up, tries to sleep in his own bed, sleeps really well and this week he started to smile. He doesn't do it very often but he at least does it. Yesterday was his 2 month check up. He is getting so big and tubby.. He weighed 14 pounds 4 oz's (90th percentile) he is 24.25" tall (80th percentile) and his noggin is in the 50th percentile. He didn't inherit the Murphy head, even tough it looks like he did.. Hopefully his head will grow into his very large body... I asked the nurse yesterday to mail me Gannon's and Korban's charts so that I can compare all three of my son's growth. I can't wait to get the results..

The last month has been kind of a challenge for me. I sometimes feel like I am in complete control, and other times, I feel like I am going to loose all composure. I am so blessed that I have my three oldest daughters to help me! Sometimes they are my lifesavers!!! They really do so much for me and I love them for it.. I guess Heavenly Father knew to send them first, because he knew I was going to need help with all of their younger siblings.

I look forward to this next month to see how my sweet Helam grows. I am trying so hard to take in all the little moments of his life so I don't forget them, and at the same time I am remembering all the moments of my other children's lives..

Gannon Zoolander...

I know this isn't the greatest picture to show Zoolander's hair, but it was the only good one that I could find.. I don't know why, but Gannon's hair sticks up like that all of the time. I have the hardest time getting it to stay down. So recently, I have started to call him Gannon Zoolander.. You can judge for yourself..

I am really working on showing him how to do "blue steal"...

The Sickness & the flowers...

Last Tuesday, Emer was feeling yucky and did for 3 days. She missed school for 2 and on the 3rd she decided that staying home was not as fun as school so she went.. She had a cough and a fever. Nothing to crazy... On Friday, both Korban and Gannon got the "sickness". Both had fever and a cough and Gannon threw up once. I thought it was from the cough. The boys both slept alot during their sickness and now they are both fine.
This morning Kylah came into my room, ran straight for her daddy and proceeded to tell him that she is sick.. I bolted up and took her temp and it was 103.5, she doesn't have the cough (yet) but she has the vomits.. Really bad..
I hate it so bad when my kids get sick! Kylah is really bummed out, because she hasn't missed a day of school yet this year, and she really wanted to be that kid who gets the special award for being 100% in attendance.. I was really rooting for her too.. Poor sweet girl. Now I just have to wait for the other kids to get this yucky sickness.. BUMMER

On a lighter note, I looked out my front window and saw a bloomed flower, well two actually.. I am going to take pictures of them.. I am so looking forward to spring and summer and being outside with my kids and doing all the fun summer activities.. I am also looking forward to them all being healthy..
