everyday life in the Murph house

So here is the latest in the house of Murph...
We had our ultrasound and we are having a new baby boy.. We are all so excited, and I was pretty surprised.. I thought for sure we were having a girl..
We went camping out to El's family property over the weekend.. Well not really weekend, but we left on friday and came home on saturday.. I have a tun of great pics, but we have to upload them and that might take me a couple of days.. But I will post them..
When we got home on Saturday I fell ill and so i have been on my recliner ever since.. Hopefully with the medicine my doc prescribed, I will start to feel better soon..
So that is my short little update.. O I forgot.. Emer lost her first tooth today.. (after alot of screaming and crying)..

Gannon & the Nickle Update...

So for the past couple of days since the nickle episode, I have been (in my mind I'm vomiting) checking his poo to see if the nickle has passed.. And still nothing, until.....

Gannon was in the middle of his ritual pulling off the couch cushions when I noticed a nickle laying on the couch.. I started to play back the nickle in the mouth thing, and realized that he didn't swallow the nickle after all.. (maybe that was reason for his evil laugh and looking at me like he had just pulled one over on me)

Now let me just explain that we very, very rarely have actual cash, let alone coins. So this is why I have come to the conclusion that he didn't swallow the nickle.. (thank goodness.. no more poo digs) (i know.. grouse!! i agree)

Gannon & the Nickle

For any of you who know Gannon, you know that he is quite the character.. I could wright a book about him and how he makes my life complete.. But, what many of you don't know, is that this cute, precious boy is also very, very, very naughty!!!! As we speak, he is trying to punch the keyboard because he knows that I am trying to write.. He is a big boy.. Much bigger than any other 2 year old I know.. Infact, he is almost taller than my 4 year old and he definitely out weights my 4 year old.. So needless to say, he is a force to recon with..

Yesterday I was talking to El on the phone when I noticed that Gannon was jumping on the couch with something sliver in his mouth.. I thought it was a whistle that he was blowing earlier so I ran to him, swiped my finger in his mouth and nothing.. I then realized that it couldn't be the whistle and that it was a nickle. I pulled away from him because I thought he was going to choke on it, then I noticed that the twit had hid it in his cheek.. (yes.. I said twit) I went to get it out and before I could, He swallowed it.. On purpose.. Then he started to laugh like he had just done the greatest trick on me ever.. (i wish i had a clip of his naughty laugh)

He is my 6th child.. And never before have I had a child swallow money.. I of corse freaked out.. And El is on the phone listening to the whole thing play out.. I hear a chuckle (Gannon gets the naughty from El) and then El tells me not to freak out.. But I did..

So here we are.. Waiting for it to pass.. Now I have to look at his poo.. I HATE POO!!!

17 weeks and the size of a........

So this week I am now 17 weeks along and "new baby" is the size of a turnip. How big is a turnip really??? If you were to see me (and I am going to have El take a pic of me tomorrow) you would think "new baby" is the size of a pumpkin.. I think that I am carrying a litter.. And when people ask how far along I am and I tell them, they look stunned.. I guess that is what happens when this is your 6th pregnancy and your 7th child..
I really can't wait for my ultrasound.. Maybe they will tell me I am further along than I think.. Who knows...

The going on's in this house of mine...

For the last week or so, we have had some things going on.. Like, road construction on my street.. First Murray City decided that since we had two water main breaks during the winter, they needed to replace our water mains. And I am okay with that.. It didn't take them long and surprisingly Murray City is efficient. They started work at 7 am and were done by 430pm.
This morning, (7am) i awoke to all of this ruckace on my street, and then I remembered that they are going to replace our street.. (WAHOO!!!) I told El that if he wanted to get out and go to work, to hurry and well he didn't, and 9am rolled around and he had to drive on already under construction road.... (i was hoping the didn't see him, because i didn't want them to egg my house) (i worry about stupid stuff).. and well he made it, and no eggs as of yet..

Also for the more exciting news, I have been able to feel my little "new baby" kick for a while now, and yesterday El was able to feel he/she.. It was so cool, because he hasn't felt any babies kick this early ever.. So it was really cool..

Everything here is going good.. and I am happy about that.. The kids register for school tomorrow (yippee) and then they start school on the 25th.. I know they can't wait and really neither can I.. They are all very ready.. And so am i....
