Being Sick Sucks

On Friday I started to get some kind of icky feeling.. I thought it was allergies. But I am guessing not.. Soon after I started to feel yucky on Friday, El started to feel bad too. (I personally think this is a conspiracy because he always gets sick when I do, then I don't have time to rest because I am taking care of him and boo hoo.... pitty me....) But maybe his are allergies.. And so the story goes, he was way worse than I was..
Flash forward to Monday (yesterday) I was feeling great and El was starting to do better and the best part was MY KIDS ARE NOT SICK!!
Yeah.. that is wishful thinking on my part. Last night Gannon started to run a fever and all of his yuck started. But his sick wasn't like mine or El's, so maybe he got sick from all the dirt he eats.. Yep.. He eats dirt.. (I blame that on EL also) another gross thing about him.. so this morning after only about 3 hours of sleep I hear a whining kid coming down the hall. It is Emer.. And she is sick too.. So apparently she either has been eating the same dirt as Gannon (she hates dirt) or she has got the icky's that Gan has. I am now awaiting the rest of my kids to get sick because once one is sick then the all are.
so with this blog, I would just like to say that being sick sucks raw eggs.. and when your kids are sick being sick sucks hard boiled eggs (just because I think hard boiled eggs are harder to suck) does that make sense?? yeah.. thanks for listening..

TV shows I love, miss & hate

Every Thursday morning, I take time out of my cleaning house duties to watch Men In Trees online. I don't watch it on Wednesday evenings when it comes on, because El doesn't like the show and well I am usually to busy to watch TV in the evenings. So today while I was watching it, I started to think of all of my favorite TV shows old and new and that didn't make it through the first season of airing. So I thought it would be fitting for me to put this in my little blog and share it with all of you...

Favorite TV shows: Men In Trees, Eli Stone, Lost, the Office, Scrubs, Chuck (one of my all time faves), the Price is Right (I love Drew Carey hosting),

Shows I miss: Love Monkey (I don't even think it made it through 1 season), Studio Sixty (WHY NBC?? Why did you cancel this show???), Alias, Friends, Who's the Boss, Frasier

Shows I can't stand: Reality TV shows that have no purpose. Now I will admit that I have watched at least the first season of almost every reality TV show. But really, are they necessary?? I like TV shows that make me laugh, make my heart beat a little. O and I do like the biggest looser.. (you all are probably thinking yep we knew it, and that is okay), CSI anything.. Really how many CSI shows are there?? 10 or 20?? The same with Law and Order.. ARRGGGHHH... isn't there enough harshness in the world??

I would love to see Adam Sandler make/be in a sitcom. I think he could do it.. Plus I think he is a total hottie..

I think that Men In Tree's is going to be canceled.. And if it is I will be sad, I have put my plight into NBC to keep it, but I am sure they don't care about little old Angie Murphy... I am also afraid for Eli Stone.. (this is a show that I think has heart, and EL and I agree that it is an awesome show)..

Okay so I know that some or maybe all of you are completely disagreeing with me and that I cool. So in return I would like to see what you guys like, miss, hate and what not about what is going on with TV.. It will give me some insight on what ya'll have in common with me...
I can't wait to hear back!!

O.. and Tracy, good luck with the baby!! I can't wait to see pictures....

If I just sit here, the things I want will just magically appear

How many of you have ever run into this?
It is almost time for the kids to go to school when there is one of your children who just can't find something they want.. whether it be a hairbrush, shoes, socks or whatever... Well this morning my Samantha just couldn't find her shoes.. Everyone was up looking through the house, and what was she doing?? Sitting on her landing next to the shoe box.. Just waiting for her shoes to magically appear...
I said to her, you need to get up and look and she says I am looking...

Okay... Her sitting there just looking makes me laugh but the thing that makes me laugh even more, is blogging has become a motivational tool. I then reach for the camera and get ready to take a picture and she jumped up so fast, because she knew I was going to take a picture of her for the blog..

I wasn't able to get a picture of her, because she then decided to find herself some shoes and the go to school. But if the chance arises again I will defiantly get the picture..

Poo, Poo & more Poo

In the recent weeks, my little (actually big) Gannon has decided that Poo is the coolest thing ever!!! You all are probably thinking eww... And yes, you have every right to be. It is totally gross and I think that he in return is equally gross. But the grossest of all is the stories behind this blog.. Please enjoy our gross sorrow!

Let me first start off by saying if you have kids and they are getting potty trained make sure you are also teaching them to flush the toilet. Because apparently I have failed in this with all of my daughters.. My son Korban does not have this problem. (He flushes even when he doesn't go)..

When I got home from work last tuesday night (around 10:30 pm) I was talking to El about how much I hate my job and just went on and on about my own troubles when I noticed he has a look about him.. I asked him if everything was okay and he said well,... (if you are a wife and your husband does something like that, don't you start to freak out?! I did..) So I thought the worst had happened, because I didn't see him after he got home from work so my mind starting racing and I thought he had lost his job or something.. If only!! He then starts to tell me this story of how the evening had gone.. El and the kids had just got done eating dinner when everyone was doing their clean up duties when all of a sudden one of the girls give a blood curling scream.. El ran down the hall to see who was near death (drama) when he saw him... Gannon... Covered in poo... El's eyes then danced around the bathroom.. All he could see was poo.... poo was everywhere.. the floor, the tub, the toilet, the walls, the shower curtain, the sink, the ceiling and yes the dog... Then I am sure this is what had come out of his mouth (i am guessing) "what in the bloody hell" (or something to that effect)... (at this point in his story I am laughing so hard). He then goes on to tell me that he had just spent 2 1/2 hours cleaning up the bathroom, gannon & the dog.. I then ask El the O so ever important question, well who's poo was it?? His reply was one of the girls. (this is where the teaching them to flush while potty training them comes in) not one of the girls would fess up to who actually didn't flush, but it was one of them.....

Flash forward to today... Here we are having a peaceful Sunday evening when all of a sudden Samantha has run into tell us that Gannon is in the bathroom getting into the toilet and flinging wet toilet paper and poo once again... And so the routine starts again....

ARGH!!! POO IS ICKY!!

So for everyones enjoyment here are some fantastic pictures that I know you will all just think are wonderful... I know I do (not)..

O.. and for all of you who don't know this EL is AMAZING!!! He cleaned it up again.. As much as he despises it, he did it.. He tells me it is because he loves me.. He must!!! And I in return Love him much more!!!

Kung Foo/ You Tube Battle

El and I were up until 1 am trying to get this video that we had made loaded onto You Tube. We got it loaded and it is pretty funny in my opinion, but we don't want any of the other videos on the video bar... So I am trying this out.. good old copy and paste....

Updated: I have been able to figure out this video bar thing.. now it is in a video bar..

I know, I know....

So you are all thinking, what the crap is up with your blog name.. Well here it is.. El and I have been checking out everyone's blogs and getting to know all of you a little better.... And come to find out, Jake and Amy's blog name is Murphy Clan.. Well, El of corse was like "we can't have the same blog name".. It wasn't really the same.. I had El Murphy Clan.. Okay, maybe it is to similar..
So I said, well then you tell me what to put, and that is what he comes up with.. Multiply and Replenish the Earth.. What a dork.. I am leaving it for only a day or two.. (I am sure my mom is thinking "yeah.. yeah... enough already".. She thinks that 3 was to many).

I am realizing that I really like this blog thing. I think that I am going to become a blogaholic... Can that happen??

I'm Finally Blogging!

Okay, Finally I am starting a blog.. I have never really thought that it would be a cool thing, but apparently everyone is doing it, and I am giving into peer pressure! (sorry mom)

After I recieved the invite to view Than & Veena's blog it got my mind going and I thought that I should try it out so we can share our family experiences and "drama".. (I blame all drama on El, just because he is always telling me that all the kids get all of their drama from me)

So here it is 3:30 and all three of my oldest girls (Samantha, Morgan & Kylah) all just got home from school. Here is the drama of the afternoon; Sam is upset with Kylah because she was singing some song that has hurt her feelings on the walk home from school.. That is the first thing that comes out of someones mouth each day. What ever happened to "Mom, I love you! I had the greatest day of school today"? Okay so yeah, that never happened. But it could, couldn't it?? DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA!!! But I love them all anyway...

Tonight we have a performance at our stake center for a "road show". ( I didn't even think road shows were the "In thing" anymore). We are doing a little skit/song and dance. Wahoo.. I know the kids are really looking forward to it. Well that is it for the time being..

I am hoping that El will put some stuff in this blog, because I think he is a funny guy!!
