In just 8 days...

I will be a full time mother of 7 again.. School is out in 8 days and for the first time in a long time I am not dreading being a full time momma... Don't get me wrong, I am always a full time mom, but not of 7 because 4 of the kids are in school from 9-3:45. So I am only with the boys a majority of the day and then the kids get home do their homework, eat and then it is usually bed time.. And I used to dread the kids being out of school. But not this year!
We will be out camping so much this summer and enjoying life together and I am over the moon about it! I can't wait to just sit with the kids around a campfire and sing songs and read scriptures. To hear about their adventures. It is just going to be awesome!

Helam is feeling better thank goodness. I was really starting to wonder if I was going to survive and I'm not the one in pain. The last week has been a real challenge for me. It breaks my heart that he has been so sick and really I just wanted to crawl in a hole.. Luckily he is doing better, and is doing better each day. (as I write this, I hear him crying upstairs.. uuuugggghhhh)

On Wednesday of this week I took Samantha in for her Jr. High school check up. FIRST OFF let me just say that I feel OLD! How in the world do I have a child that is going to be in Jr. High? That is just crazy to me..
She is growing like a weed.. She weighs 93.8 pounds.. (she is really going to kill me for writing this) and is 5 ft 3 inches tall. That is only 3 inches shorter than me!?! WHAT THE CRAP? I knew I was going to be a short mom.... Our Dr. said that she is right on mark and looks really good.. So that is good to hear. It is funny to take Samantha to the DR because I am not used to having to deal with the big kid stuff at the docs.. I am a pro when it comes to taking the little ones, but MAN o MAN taking tweens is uncharted territory for me. :)

This is life! Crazy, eventful, scary and most of all a blessing! Now I am off to change a poopy diaper and listen to the boys fight over who is going to be Indiana Jones... dun, dun, duuunnn!
